About the role:
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, as assistant food and beverage manager, you will be expected to bring a wealth of industry experience, that can inspire and grow a developing team. Strong leadership skills are essential, to develop and create an unforgettable experience for our guests and members alike.
What does this role involve day to day?
• Delivering the highest standards in service and presentation whilst delivering outstanding customer care.
• Managing team members to ensure customer service standards are met and customer enquiries are dealt with.
• Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager with being responsible for departmental induction/training & mentoring of all new team members.
• Ensure the security of stock, premises and cash at all times, following company procedures.
• Being responsible for the opening and closing of the restaurant and bar.
• Assist with recruiting and training staff.
• Responsible for payroll, staff scheduling and administration.
• Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure all food safety procedures are strictly followed according to sanitary regulations.
• Ensure safe working conditions are always maintained.
• Auditing inventory levels to ensure product availability to meet customer demand.
• Working closely with management to meet revenue objectives.
• Ensure COSHH and chemical safety is adhered to at all times.
This will be suited to you if
• You have strong organisational and time management skills.
• Can demonstrate a history of leading and passionately developing teams to deliver specific goals and targets.
• You’re a capable trainer, able to develop and deliver training materials.
• Two plus years of experience with managing a team
• Two plus years of experience working in hospitality-based setting
• Personal Alcohol License (preferred not essential)
• Food Allergen Level 1
• Food Safety Level 2
