About the role:
In your role as JCB’s Dealer Development Manager – Network Planning you will be responsible for working with the Global JCB Regional teams to design, implement and optimise the JCB dealer network and align strategies to support business growth and our long term global sales targets. This role ensures that the dealer network aligns to the companies strategic goals, market demands and brand positioning while maintaining operational excellence and profitability. What does this role involve day to day?
• Reporting to the Head of Distribution Development, you’ll work with regional teams and JCB Dealer Development to develop plans that deliver growth in line with JCB’s 5 Year Plan. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape including competitor networks and market developments
• You will lead the charge to create a clear strategy for ensuring our regions and markets around the globe are supported with their planning and dealer coverage to maximise on sales opportunities.
• Utilise data driven insights to ensure the dealer network meets current and future business requirements
• You will have the knowledge to support with future dealer financial planning and the development of our regional DD teams.
• Maintain and enforce dealer branding, facilities and operational standards globally.
• Finally, you will be responsible for on-boarding & off-boarding our dealer network through the DD team
This will be suited to you:
You’ll need to demonstrate a good understanding of Dealers and Network Development internationally and the underlying financial profit/cash aspects of the dealer business. You’ll also need to bring with you experience of dealer development and dealer performance management. It is also critical that you bring a maturity in your communication style and have strong leadership and development skills to ensure you, and your team are able to manage a diverse stakeholder group.
• Educated to tertiary level or equivalent experience
• Very strong experience directly within OEM DD business (dealer and/or manufacturer) with demonstrable track record of delivering operational best practice
• Experienced in setting strategic direction and driving delivery
• Project management skills and data analysis desirable
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Experience of managing dealer relationships is advantageous
• Influential and credible in dealing with investors and senior management
This position plays a critical role in driving global growth and delivering a robust, customer-focused dealer network that is completely aligned with the company vision and market needs.
